Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add my OpenRouter Management API key?

Open the app, go to the API key flow, and paste a Management API key from your OpenRouter account. The key is stored in your device secure storage and is only sent to OpenRouter over HTTPS. Prefer a dedicated key and rotate it if you think it was exposed. See OpenRouter’s documentation on Management API keys for creation and scoping.

How do I add widgets to my Home Screen?

On iOS, long-press the Home Screen, tap “+” in the corner, search for the app or “OpenRouter”, pick a widget size, then tap Add Widget. You can edit the widget to choose metrics and time range where supported. On Android, widget availability matches what we ship; use the system widget picker for our app when available.

Why does my data show a limited time window?

The App aligns with OpenRouter’s analytics and activity data. Activity is shown for up to the last 30 completed UTC days, as available from OpenRouter for your account, not as an unlimited log.

My widget is not updating. What should I try?

Open the app once to refresh, check network connectivity, confirm your Management API key is still valid, and try removing and re-adding the widget. iOS may defer background refresh; opening the app usually updates widget timelines. If it persists, email us with your device model and OS version.

Do you have access to my API key on your servers?

The App is designed so your Management API key stays on your device (secure storage) for connecting to OpenRouter. This support site and optional web analytics on this site are separate from that flow. See the Privacy Policy and Terms for details.

Is there an Android version?

A Google Play release may follow. Check this site or the project’s release notes for updates when a Play Store link is available.

How do I report a bug?
